                                                    voice and the actor.

This term we have started the unit voice and the actor and are focusing on how to develop and use your voice as performer effectively. we started to look at various definition of vocal terminology such as:

Projection: projection is the strength of the voice, actors need to project in order for their voices to be heard at the back of the auditorium.

clarity: clarity is the ability, to be understanded when you are speaking" so you could clearly understood".

Articulation: articulation is the movement of the tongue, lips, jaw and others speech organs ( the articulators) in order to make speech sounds, being able to produce the correct vocal sound. its mostly being to pronounce the word properly.

Articulation: articulators are the lips,jaw,teeth,tongue.

Pitch: pitch determines how high or low you vocal sounds is, another way of describing vocal pitch is "vocal range"

when we begin voice work in lesson, i find that my voice was very weak because i didn't know how to control my breading. Therefor i didn't know how to use my breading to help me project my voice properly.
